Mumbai: After the swearing in of the ministers of the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, now everyone’s eyes are fixed on the division of departments. According to sources, the Fadnavis government can divide the departments in the next 24 hours. Sources say that the formula for the division of departments has also been decided.

Talking about the possible formula for division of departments, according to sources, BJP will keep ministries like Home Ministry, Law and Justice, Energy, Irrigation, Rural Development, Revenue, Skill Development, General Administration, Environment, Tribal Development with itself. 

Shinde’s Shiv Sena may get ministries like Urban Development, Housing Development, Social Justice, Tourism, Mining, Water Supply, Industry, Health, Education, PWD. Ajit Pawar’s NCP may get ministries like Finance and Planning, Food and Supply, FDA, Excise, Agriculture, Women and Child Development, Sports and Youth Welfare, Minority Affairs, Relief and Rehabilitation.

Let us tell you that Fadnavis expanded his cabinet in Nagpur on Sunday and included 39 new members in his team. This included 19 MLAs from BJP, 11 from Shinde-led Shiv Sena and nine from Ajit Pawar-led NCP. There are a total of 16 new faces in this cabinet while 10 faces have been dropped.
