Suspense crime, Digital Desk : An emergency call made from Ghaziabad reported a death threat against Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. The incident which took place somewhere between Thursday night and Friday morning, has led police to begin searching for the caller as per their jurisdiction, officials said.

The call was made to the Dial 112 helpline. Following the set protocols, local police promptly shared the information with the Delhi Police Control Room and sent an examination team on-site.

Authorities Unable to Trace Caller Yet

Assistant Commissioner of Police Ritesh Tripathi reported that a crew was deployed to the alleged locus of the call to Panchwati Colony. Nonetheless, no communication could be established with the person who allegedly placed the menacing call.

Several police units have been tasked with identifying the individual through surveillance, and those with the jurisdiction are doing what they can to understand the threat’s context.
