Beijing : A Chinese boat capsized in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Because of this, 39 people aboard went missing. Rescue operations are underway to find them.

This is a fishing boat (U028). The crew consists of 17 Chinese, 17 Indonesians and five Filipinos.

President Xi Jinping issued an order to activate the emergency procedure mechanism as soon as he received the information.
