Chief Minister Shivraj announced the formation of Jugal Kishore Sarkar Lok in Panna

Panna/Bhopal, May 22 (Hindustan Times). Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the establishment of Jugal Kishore Sarkar Lok in Panna on the lines of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain on the occasion of Panna Gaurav Day, the birth anniversary of Bundel Kesari Maharaja Chhatrasal. Calling Panna a holy religious city, he said that all the four temple complexes would be included in the Jugal Kishore Sarkar Lok. Jugal will be done by Kishor taking people’s suggestions and advice.

Chief Minister Chauhan was addressing the Gaurav Divas ceremony organized at the local Chhatrasal Stadium late on Monday evening. At the Gaurav Divas ceremony, he donated Rs. Groundbreaking and inauguration of various construction works worth 178 crores 51 lakhs. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, District Panchayat President Meena Raje Parmar, Vice President Santosh Yadav and public representatives and councilors were present in this ceremony.

A statue of Maharaja Chhatrasal will be installed in Dharmasagar Lake

At the ceremony, the Chief Minister announced the installation of a statue of Maharaja Chhatrasal at Dharmasagar Lake to encourage people to take inspiration from Maharaja Chhatrasal and follow his ideals. On the demand of public representatives, he said that when a decision is taken to open medical colleges in cities/districts with a population of up to 10 lakh, Panna will also be included. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government will leave no stone unturned in the development of Panna.

The Chief Minister said that Panna has been given many gifts of development today. In the year 2018, the Agricultural College was sought, later shifted by the then Govt., which has now been brought back to Panna. Referring to the glory of Maharaja Chatrasal, he said that he was a great warrior who never lost. The boundaries of his kingdom were vast.

Describing Panna as a wonderful city, he said that the festivals, fairs, folk art, food, culture and civilization here are special. Like the brilliance of a diamond, we have to retain the identity of an emerald. The state government is doing all the development works along with providing employment and self-employment. Along with this, the standard of living of the people is also improving. Many plans are underway for this.

The Chief Minister instructed the Collector that after the investigation, those who create hurdles in the work of Jugal Kishore Mandir will not be spared. In the ceremony, the beloved sisters presented a 51 meter chunri and a large rakhi to the Chief Minister and also tied a rakhi to him. The Chief Minister also honored many talents of the city.

Minister Brijendra Pratap Singh thanked the Chief Minister for declaring Chhatrasal Jayanti as a public holiday and demanded the installation of a statue of Maharaja Chhatrasal in Dharmasagar Lake. He said that Maharaja Chatrasal had a big heart. He fought many battles but never lost. Liberated Bundelkhand from the Mughals.

In the beginning, the Chief Minister started the ceremony by paying floral tributes to the statue of Kanya Pujan and Maharaja Chhatrasal. Brijendra Pratap Singh welcomed the Chief Minister and other guests by giving them a safa dam and a sword. The program featured melodious songs by renowned singer Kavita Paudwal. The audience was seen dancing to their songs late into the night.
