Amid the chaos, the road to Money in the Bank began with a series of high-stakes qualifying matches. In a thrilling Triple Threat Match, "Main Event" Jey Uso punched his ticket to the ladder match by defeating legends Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio. In the women's division, Iyo Sky secured her spot by overcoming Zelina Vega and Kiana James.
The night's other major qualifier saw an unstoppable Bron Breakker continue his path of destruction, spearing Sheamus for a dominant victory to earn his place in the Money in the Bank ladder match. This came after a tense confrontation earlier in the night with Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, setting the stage for a future title collision.
In the women's division, World Champion Liv Morgan's "revenge tour" continued as she defeated Zelina Vega, thanks to a timely distraction from "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, furthering their bizarre and compelling storyline.
