Chaitra Navratri began on March 30 and will conclude on April 6, 2025. Devotees observe Ghatasthapana and daily puja rituals throughout these auspicious nine days. However, due to Dwitiya and Tritiya Tithi overlapping, this year’s Navratri is of 8 days instead of 9.

Importance of Ashtami and Navami

The Ashtami and Navami Tithis are considered the most significant days of Navratri. On these days, devotees perform Havan and Kanya Pujan. Ram Navami, which celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, also falls on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, i.e., April 6, 2025.
