Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Buddha Purnima is a holiday that is particularly holy and powerful for both Hindus and Buddhists. It falls on the full moon of Vaishakh month and is believed to mark three crucial moments in Buddha's life - his birth, enlightenment, and death. This is why followers of Buddhism observe this day as a significant occasion. In Hinduism too, this day holds equal significance as it is an ideal time for worshiping Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
