Amid the growing trend of AI-generated Ghibli-style visuals, one artist has stood out by hand-drawing BTS member V (Kim Taehyung) and his beloved late dog Yeontan in the signature look of Studio Ghibli films. The work has touched BTS ARMYs worldwide, not only for its visual appeal but also for the emotional connection it evokes.

On March 30, 2025, a user identified as @Bwidasein shared the artwork on X (formerly Twitter), with the caption:

Second Artwork Celebrates V Solo
The artist also posted a second Ghibli-style illustration featuring a solo V, standing against a scenic background in a white tee and blue pants. In the caption, the artist wrote:
“I made this piece with the skills that I’ve learned and developed through the years and with immense respect to two artists who inspire me: Hayao Miyazaki and Kim Taehyung.”

Remembering Yeontan: V’s Beloved Companion
Yeontan, V’s cherished pet Pomeranian, passed away in late 2024. V shared the emotional news on December 2 via Instagram, writing:
“Yeontan has embarked on a long journey to the dog stars... I thought a lot about how to share this with ARMY, who have shown so much love for him.”
The news deeply affected fans who had grown fond of Yeontan over the years, often seeing him alongside V in live streams and social media posts.
