Visa-Free Entry: Beginning this year, Belarus will introduce its systematic electronic visa (or e-visa) application for travelers. This initiative permits visitors from 67 nations --- the United States, Canada, European Union member states, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, to name a few --- to secure a single-entry visa at the click of a button and without the added hassle of visiting an embassy or consulate.
This change is a result of the Government Decree No. 953, which was signed on December 16, 2024 and within the context of modifying the Belarus visa regime. The e visa programme seeks to ease the travel requirements of business people, tourists, students and other participants of sporting, cultural and educational events.
