Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Residents in Agra and surrounding districts of Uttar Pradesh are being advised to take precautions as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for the next three days. The forecast predicts a high probability of thunderstorms, heavy rain, and dangerous lightning strikes across the region.
According to the weather office, changing atmospheric conditions are creating the perfect environment for intense weather events. The alert warns of moderate to heavy rainfall, which could lead to waterlogging in low-lying urban areas and traffic disruptions.
In addition to the rain, strong, gusty winds are also expected to accompany the thunderstorms, posing a risk of damage to temporary structures and trees.
The primary concern highlighted in the advisory is the threat of frequent lightning. The IMD has urged citizens to follow safety protocols to protect themselves during the storm activity.
