Phagwara. The Sadar police station of Phagwara has arrested a youth selling banned China doors and registered a case against him. The police have recovered 12 Gattu China doors in the said case.

Meanwhile, Rajiv Duggal, member of All India Detective Anti Crime, said that to prevent crimes, his society has started a war against crime by reaching various areas of Phagwara through vehicles.

He said that during this time, when the All India Detective Anti Crime vehicle reached village Pandori in Phagwara, they received information that a young man was selling China door at a grocery shop.

He said that 12 Gattu China Doors were recovered from the spot and handed over to the Sadar Police Station and information was given to the police. Rajeev Duggal said that the said youth also gave him a written apology on the spot in which he has written that he will not do this in future.

Meanwhile, ASI Jaswinder Singh posted at Sadar Police Station said that he had received information that a youth running a grocery shop in village Pandori is selling banned China Doors. On the basis of the information, the police arrested the shopkeeper Rampal and registered a case against him.

Meanwhile, 12 pieces of Gattu China cord were recovered from Rampal. It is noteworthy that China cord has been banned by the Kapurthala District Magistrate. These cords are coated with a special type of metal, which prevents them from breaking, and is potentially lethal.

Let us tell you that many people have lost their lives due to China thread and many people have been seriously injured by the said thread. The police have warned of strict action against those selling China thread and those flying kites with China thread.
