CM Yogi Adityanath's day began in Ambedkar Nagar, where he conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing development projects and the district's law-and-order situation. Later in the day, he is scheduled to travel to Varanasi to welcome the Prime Minister.

While a severe heatwave continues to grip many parts of Uttar Pradesh, with temperatures soaring, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the monsoon is advancing. Relief in the form of rain is expected to reach eastern UP within the next few days.
