150 Years Of Test Cricket: Test is the oldest format in the history of cricket. It is played for five days and every team gets a chance to bowl and bat twice. The real test of players is in the Test format. Here the players’ technique, cricket skills, and patience are tested. Till now ICC has recognized only 12 countries as Test playing nations. The first Test match in the history of cricket was played between England and Australia in March 1877 at the Melbourne ground. Test cricket will complete 150 years in the year 2027.
