The UP Board exams began across various districts on Monday, but several shocking incidents have raised concerns about exam integrity. Cases of negligence and malpractice have surfaced from different areas, putting the future of students at risk.

Wrong Exam Paper Given to Students in Muzaffarnagar

In a major blunder, girl students in Muzaffarnagar were given the Sahitya Hindi (Literary Hindi) paper instead of the General Hindi paper. Despite raising complaints, their concerns were ignored, and they were forced to take the wrong exam. After the exam, the students informed their families, leading to an uproar.

Frustrated parents have demanded a re-exam and strict action against those responsible. As a result, the centre administrators have been removed, and a letter has been sent to the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) recommending further action. The incident took place at Kabul Kanya Inter College in the Khatauli police station area of Muzaffarnagar.

Hijab Controversy in Jaunpur – Girls Leave Exam Centre

At Sarvodaya Inter College Khudauli in Jaunpur, four girl students were asked to remove their hijabs before entering the exam hall. When they refused, they were not allowed inside and, as a result, chose to leave without writing their Hindi paper. This incident has sparked widespread discussions both locally and on social media.

Drunken Students Caught at Exam Centre in Firozabad

In another shocking incident, two girl students in Firozabad arrived at the exam centre intoxicated. Their unsteady movements caught the attention of on-duty policemen, leading to an argument. Despite this, they were allowed to enter. However, once inside, both girls began vomiting, further confirming their inebriation.

Cheaters and Impersonators Caught in Multiple Districts

With strict security measures in place, including STF and Intelligence Unit surveillance, authorities managed to catch 14 individuals impersonating actual candidates and 9 students cheating across different districts on the first day of the exams.

These incidents have once again highlighted the need for stricter monitoring and accountability in the UP Board exams to ensure fair and transparent conduct.
