Belgaum: A sensational news of murder has come to light in Chikkodi of Belgaum district of Karnataka. A man who tried to rape his own daughter was killed by his wife. After this, she tried to dispose of the husband's body in a filmy style, but this murder case could not remain hidden for long. On Wednesday morning, the police recovered the body of the deceased.

The husband was trying to rape his daughter

The woman's husband Shrimant used to quarrel and abuse her everyday after drinking so much alcohol. She was upset by this. On Monday, Shrimant came home drunk and pressured his wife to have sex with him but the wife refused and went out of the house. When she returned after some time, she saw that her husband, in a drunken state, was forcing himself on his own daughter. On seeing this, the woman lost her temper and took a big stone and hit Shrimant on the head. Shrimant died within some time.

Husband's body cut into two pieces

After this, the woman made a plan to dispose of her husband's body. Since she could not take out the entire body, she first cut the body into two pieces and then put each piece in a small drum and threw it in a nearby field. After this, she washed the barrel used in the crime and threw it in the well. She returned home and packed the weapon used in the crime, blood-stained bedding and clothes in a bag. She took the bag to the well and threw it by attaching a stone to it so that it could not come back to the surface of the water.

Evidence destroyed in filmy style

After cleaning the blood stains and taking a bath, she burnt the clothes on her body and threw the burnt ashes on the ground. She washed the stone used in the murder and hid it in a tin shed. The woman also switched off her husband's mobile phone and left him at home. She warned the first daughter who woke up at this time not to say anything. 

Said sorry to the police - yes we killed him

Everything was fine till morning, but on Wednesday morning someone saw the dead body in the field. After finding the dead body, Chikkodi police registered a case of murder and started investigation. During the investigation, the police suspected the wife of the deceased. When the police interrogated her strictly, she broke down in tears saying sorry for her mistake. The wife told the police that she was fed up with her husband, who used to harass her to give money for liquor.
