Retired firefighters have been summoned to assist several Los Angeles celebrities such as actors, actresses, and even musicians during the past week’s wildfires. The winds in Palisades, Eaton and Hurst regions touched a speed higher than 70,000 making it easy for wildfires to break out. Due to this, around 5 people died and more than 70,000 people were forced to evacuate from California.
The amount of water that was present in the area was significantly low along with the supplies needed to make the fires stop. To assist with the situation further, the Washington Province sent help while Los Angeles announced a state of emergency. The retrospective firenighters started. Losing their homes, about 70,000 people were slaughtered in the fires around the country’s second-largest city, and more than a thousand buildings around the city were burned and turned to ash. Smoke remained constant at the top due to the fires which made the situation more intense.
Fires Striking In The Positive Palisades
Security personnel and officials’ homes were severely burned down due to the strong and high winds. The celebrity dominated area alongside specific upmarket regions were set ablaze due to the surge of wildfires in California.

In efforts to outstretch people’s understanding, fire spread across like a windstorm, making the situation harder, propagating negativity.
The scene brought further trauma of death as Bellavista School had shut down the desolated areas. “And remember, this is still a very fluid situation, there’s zero containment on this fire, I really hope we don’t find anymore but I still think it may be added.”
Around 70,000 people were directed to evacuate. Marrone said that many of the individuals who did not evacuate ended up getting “major injuries.”
Water deficit
As the smoke started enveloping the Los Angeles region, locals started complaining that their hydrants had dried up. Janisse Quinones, the chief executive officer of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, urged locals to reduce their water usage after the hydrants located in Pacific Palisades went dry.
“When it comes to wildfires, we are still relying on regular urban water systems. This isn’t ideal,” she added.
California Governor Gavin Newsom was out in Los Angeles with Joe Biden when achieving this Chicago fire was described as an “extraordinary” situation.
“The aim is to control the fire. We will do anything and everything, and for as long as is needed,” Biden told journalists.
Hollywood Grinds To A Halt
In a showbiz capital bursting with wildfires, Pamela Anderson’s film premiere amongst various other events including an award show that were scheduled consequently were forced to cancel as a result of the unnatural uplift in hurricane wind speeds while the fires were being extinguished.
Tesla founder Elon Musk displayed the destruction caused by fires, claiming over a century of celebrity residences were scarred in the Pacific Palisades region. Reports mention, Musk's multi million dollars residences were engulfed with blazes alongside the other numerous vehicles in the city.
Sharing through her Instagram account, This Us singer Mandy Moore,recalls having to pick up her pets and children in order to drive away from the reckless fire that had ruined her Altadena area.
Responding to the aftermath of the destruction in the Pacific Palisades and surrounding areas, Moore claimed “I am shattered for everyone left in the destruction alongside me, feels like I’ve lost all my emotions” while captioning it as home.
Woods, the emmy winning actor took it to X to share a video captured while he was leaving the area which displays flames covering the bushes and trees nearby his home. While James Woods being startled completed the final rounds of the house before clearing off, they were left speechless when all the fire alarms went soaring.
On Instagram, Mark Hamill, who was in ‘Star Wars’, notified followers that he, his wife and pet dog had to leave their Malibu house and ran down a street that had fires burning on the sides.
Another disheartening case is that of Jamie Lee Curtis, who won an Oscar. Curtis had to evacuate her home and later wrote on Instagram: “The current wildfires have wiped out the entire neighborhood we were living in. At least our house is still standing. Others though have lost all their belongings."
The release of the Oscar nominations has also been pushed forward to January 19 so that members of the academy who were affected by the fires can vote later this week.
