Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, who is lodged in Adiala Jail, said on Tuesday that his life is in danger. In a statement issued by PTI after meeting his sister Dr. Uzma Khan, Imran Khan was quoted as saying that the military establishment has used every possible tactic against him and now they have no option left except to have him killed.

The party alleged that Imran Khan has been held in complete solitary confinement, with no electricity, no sunlight, no proper food, no clean drinking water, no medical care, and no basic amenities a prisoner should have. Khan said he was being held in conditions comparable to those of death row inmates.

According to a PTI statement, the former Prime Minister said that if anything happens to him, the Army Chief and the Director General of the ISI will be responsible. He added that he is being provided with the same facilities as a death row prisoner. The party alleges that Imran Khan is being kept in solitary confinement and deprived of even basic amenities.

Calling these conditions inhumane, the former prime minister said, "I am being tortured in a cage and treated worse than animals. The electricity in my cell was cut off for five days. I was not allowed to leave my cell for ten days." Imran Khan accused Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir of political persecution, calling him the most brutal and mentally unstable dictator in history.

It's worth noting that Dr. Uzma Khan was allowed to meet her brother in Rawalpindi's high-security Adiala Jail amid the protests. According to CNN-News18, the meeting lasted 25 to 35 minutes. According to people close to Uzma Khan, Imran Khan appeared fit, healthy, and cheerful.

After the meeting, Uzma Khan said that Imran was upset about some issues with the prison administration, but his spirits were high. She added that the PTI founder is mentally very strong. She delivered a message to the party leadership, calling the current system "undemocratic." During the meeting, Imran Khan reiterated that Army Chief General Asim Munir was responsible for the "mental torture."
