Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has officially released the results for the Senior Secondary (Class 12) public examinations that were held in April and May 2024. Students who appeared for these exams can now check their scores and download their provisional marksheets from the official NIOS results portal.

This announcement brings an end to the anxious wait for thousands of students across the country. To access your results, you will need your enrollment number provided by NIOS.

How to Check Your NIOS Class 12 Result (April/May 2024)

Follow these simple steps to view your scorecard:

  1. Go to the Official Results Portal: Open your web browser and navigate directly to results.nios.ac.in.
  2. Find the Result Link: On the homepage, click on the link for "Public Examination Result."
  3. Enter Your Details: You will be prompted to enter your unique NIOS Enrollment Number and the security captcha code shown on the screen.
  4. View and Save Your Scorecard: After entering the details correctly, click the 'Submit' button. Your result will be displayed on the screen. It is highly recommended to download and print a copy for your immediate records.

What to Do After Checking Your Results?

The marksheet available online is a provisional copy. Your official, original Marksheet-cum-Certificate and Migration-cum-Transfer Certificate will be sent directly to your designated Accredited Institute (AI) or study center. You will need to collect these important documents from there.

For students who are not satisfied with their scores, NIOS will soon announce the schedule and procedure for the re-checking or re-evaluation of answer scripts. Keep an eye on the official NIOS website for this information.
