Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Before making her on-screen debut, actress Palak Tiwari began her journey in Bollywood behind the camera. In a recent interview, she revealed a surprising detail about her first major industry gig: she worked as an assistant director on the Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma starrer Antim: The Final Truth and chose to do so without any pay.

Speaking to Mashable India, the daughter of acclaimed actress Shweta Tiwari explained her humble reasoning for forgoing a salary. She felt that her role as an AD was a learning opportunity and that her contribution wasn't significant enough to ask for money from a superstar of Salman Khan's stature.

"I didn't get paid for it," Palak confirmed. When asked why, she candidly expressed her perspective at the time, stating in Hindi, "Main kya hi contribute karungi ki woh mujhe paise de?" which translates to, "What could I possibly contribute that he would pay me for it?" She added that she secured the position through a friend who was also an assistant director on the film, not through a direct connection with the superstar.

Palak viewed the experience as invaluable training, getting a firsthand look at the workings of a major film set and observing veteran actors and filmmakers at work.

Her journey came full circle when Salman Khan himself launched her as an actress in his 2023 film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Her story of starting as an unpaid assistant on his set and later becoming his co-star highlights her dedication and the respect she holds for the industry veterans she has worked with.
