There was a lot of politics over the Moradabad seat during the Lok Sabha elections. SP leader ST Hasan was elected MP from here in the 2019 elections and was again made a candidate in the 2024 elections, but later the candidate was changed. Ruchi Veera’s name was later announced in place of ST Hasan. After this, ST Hasan did not campaign in support of the SP candidate. Azam Khan was said to be behind the cancellation of his ticket. Now, after several months of the Lok Sabha elections, he has given a big statement about the Samajwadi Party.
“Many parties had approached”
Former SP MP and leader ST Hasan has claimed that many parties had contacted him during the Lok Sabha elections. The SP leader said that the Lok Sabha elections are over. Whatever our party’s national president Akhilesh Yadav had said is correct and he also fulfills what he says. He claimed that many parties had contacted me and put pressure on me during the Lok Sabha elections, but I have an old relationship with SP. SP is my mother’s party and I was a part of it earlier and will remain a part of it in the future too. I may or may not get anything from the party.
Elected MP from Moradabad in 2019
The former MP praised SP President Akhilesh Yadav and late leader Mulayam Singh Yadav. He said that I know that I have always received love from my leader Akhilesh Yadav and the late Mulayam Singh Yadav. They supported me and it was because of Netaji that I came into politics. I am very grateful to him. Let us tell you that SP leader ST Hasan was elected MP from Moradabad in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
