Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A wanted criminal executed in an encounter with police in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday Morning. The notorious Sonu Pasi aka Bhure sustained injuries during the police encounter at Saloni Mohammadpur Bandha and was wanted for over 53 criminal cases and had a bounty of ₹1 lakh. Pasi was accused of murder, dacoity, and robbery.

Crossfire

As said by Gonda Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal, the operation was initiated following the intel received on Monday night. Pasi was being intercepted by a combined police force SOG and Khodare.

It is said that Pasi fired at police whilst being intercepted and was shot during the retaliatory fire which explains his death at the district medical college.

Weapons Acquired and Close Officer Casualities

The investigation located a .32 bore pistol and a homemade .315 bore rifle along with a number of bullets. A single stray bullet from Pasis gun managed to hit an officer's bulletproof vest which resulted in no injury.Continuing the Enforcement Actions and Prior Events

As of last month, Pasi was on the run for allegedly gunning down a local during a robbery in Umri Begumganj. His rap sheet consisted of 53 counts of serious offenses ranging from the Arms Act, NDPS Act, Gangsters Act, and a multitude of others from Gonda, Basti, and even nearby districts.

Brijesh alias Chhotu Pasi, Pallu Pasi, and Nanmunna Lodhi – his accomplices – were previously hurt and arrested during separate police encounters.
