In Gonda district, where voting will take place across ten civic bodies, the administration has estimated a baseline requirement of 716 EVMs under existing operational metrics. These bodies comprise the three established municipal councils (Nagar Palika Parishad) of Gonda, Colonelganj, and Nawabganj, alongside seven town panchayats (Nagar Panchayat)—Tarabganj, Belsar, Parsapur, Katra, Khargupur, Dhanepur, and Mankapur. District officials have sought 8,000 square feet of dedicated municipal land to build a centralized EVM storage facility.
