The opposition has a narrow-minded mentality: Mr. Maurya
The Deputy Chief Minister clarified that Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, is a revered saint within our Sanatani family. The sentiments he expressed have received full support from the nation’s community of saints and religious leaders. Even in the Braj region, there is no issue or opposition regarding his statements; the only person troubled by this is Akhilesh Yadav. This clearly indicates that the opposition is deeply unsettled and rattled by the steadily growing influence of Sanatan Dharma across the country and the state.
Akhilesh Yadav should apologize.
Shri Maurya stated that matters concerning saints and religious leaders pertain to the faith of the religious community. The right to respond to a statement made by a saint rests solely with the community of saints and revered religious leaders—not with political parties seeking to gain an advantage. The remarks made by Akhilesh Yadav regarding Bageshwar Dham Sarkar are highly condemnable, and he should apologize to the Sanatani community for them.
Launching a sharp attack on Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya remarked that Akhilesh Yadav need not concern himself at all with Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture, or the community of saints.
