Mr. Maurya will hold a meeting with departmental officials in Prayagraj tomorrow and review the departmental schemes
Keshav Prasad Maurya will visit Prayagraj on October 18, 2026. According to the scheduled program, he will interact with party office-bearers, public representatives, and party workers at the Circuit House, Prayagraj, at 5:00 PM. Following this, he will hold a meeting with departmental officials to review the progress of development projects and public welfare schemes.
The Deputy Chief Minister will place special emphasis on ensuring that the benefits of Central and State government schemes reach the most marginalized sections of society, strengthening the rural economy, and expanding opportunities for employment and livelihoods. The meeting may cover key topics such as schemes under the Rural Development Department, rural connectivity infrastructure, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, the Chief Minister’s Awas Yojana, women’s empowerment through Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and job creation under the 'Viksit Bharat – G Ram Ji' initiative.
Additionally, focused attention will be given to accelerating efforts toward the development of the food processing sector, value addition for farmers' produce, increasing employment opportunities for rural youth, and fostering the economic self-reliance of women’s Self-Help Groups.
