Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is arriving in Mathura and Vrindavan for a high-profile two-day official visit to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami. Marking his 43rd visit to Mathura during his tenure as Chief Minister and his landmark 20th visit to the sacred birthplace, the leader is bringing massive developmental blessings for the region. Alongside participating in divine celebrations and honoring revered saints, the Chief Minister is set to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for transformative infrastructure projects worth one thousand fifty-one crore rupees.
Grand Itinerary and Inauguration of Swami Haridas Auditorium
The Chief Minister's special aircraft is scheduled to land in Vrindavan by helicopter at 1:00 PM on Thursday. Kickstarting his packed itinerary, CM Yogi will inaugurate the newly constructed Swami Haridas Auditorium at the Geeta Research Institute. During the inaugural session, he will formally felicitate prominent saints and sages and take part in a community Annaprashan ceremony organized by local district administration officials. While high visitor crowds have led to a temporary rescheduling of his Thakur Banke Bihari temple darshan, he remains fully dedicated to community engagement and administrative reviews.
Unveiling Rs 1,051 Crore Worth of Infrastructure Projects for Braj
A major highlight of the visit is the financial rollout for regional growth. CM Yogi will launch developmental initiatives valued at ₹1,051 crore and preside over the crucial tenth board meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad. Discussions during the high-level meeting will focus on key modernization projects, including the much-anticipated flyover designed to seamlessly connect the Agra-Delhi Highway to the Yamuna Expressway. Furthermore, the Chief Minister will personally inspect the ongoing progress of the Kanha Bhakti Stambh Marg in Vrindavan before halting for an overnight stay at the Veterinary University campus.
Divine Darshan at Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi on Friday
Continuing his deep spiritual connection with the holy town, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive at the sacred Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi on Friday morning at 9:55 AM to offer prayers and seek blessings directly at the birthplace of Lord Krishna. District Magistrate C.P. Singh confirmed that all security arrangements, protocol guidelines, and local developmental preparations for the Chief Minister's high-profile Janmashtami visit have been successfully finalized. Following his morning prayers and celebrations, the Chief Minister will depart for Agra at 11:15 AM, concluding another impactful visit dedicated to the cultural and structural upliftment of the Braj region.
