US graduate child: In America, a 12-year-old boy named Clovis Hung has set a new record for the youngest graduate degree at Fullerton College. According to CBS News, the boy said he was inspired by the boy who was the youngest to graduate in 2020.
On this achievement, Clovis Hung said, ‘I also wanted to be the youngest graduate. I had no intention of breaking my previous record. He began preparations Monday for five associate degrees and a sixth next year. Hung said his decision to nominate was motivated by a spirit of friendly competition.
Earned five degrees
Recently, Hung was awarded five degrees along with other college classmates at Fullerton College’s convocation. The five subjects in which he holds a degree are History, Social Sciences, Social Behavior and Self-Development, Art and Human Expression, Science and Mathematics.
He plans to get another degree next year. Hung’s mother, Song Choi, said Clovis has always been very self-motivated and goal-driven. This is the reason why he dropped out of school in 2019 and started studying from home.
Hung’s mother Choi said in a press release that Clovis is a very curious, mature, hardworking, self-disciplined and confident child. He is also very curious and that’s why he dropped out of school and opted for Vikas College. Hung attended college as well as home schooling.
“At first I was a little worried about how the other kids would adjust, given the age difference,” said Kenneth Collins, a biology professor at the college, as he talked to freshmen about adjusting to the hangover. However, he allayed my concerns with his performance.
