Taking strict action, the state’s Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has suspended the CMO of Shravasti due to continuous complaints. Action has been taken on the instructions of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak. At the same time, the doctor posted in Fatehpur has also been suspended and attached to the office of CMO Siddharthnagar. At the same time, the allegations of irregularities by the CMO and former superintendent of Sultanpur are being investigated. Instructions have been issued for disciplinary action against two medical officers of Pilibhit and Amethi.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that Shravasti Chief Medical Officer Dr Ajay Pratap Singh has been suspended on charges of not being able to control illegal private hospitals, committing certain irregularities in tenders, not disposing of biomedical waste properly and not following higher orders. Apart from this, he has been attached to the Directorate General of Medical Health.

In this regard, the government had directed the DM and CDO Shravasti to investigate the entire matter and submit a report. This action has been taken on the basis of the report submitted to the government by both the officers. At the same time, gynecologist Dr. Pundrik Kumar Gupta posted at the District Women’s Hospital of Fatehpur has been suspended and attached to the Chief Medical Officer’s office of Siddharth Nagar.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that an audio of the doctor had gone viral, in which he was using abusive language and making indecent remarks against the top officials of the government, administration and administration. The Deputy CM has also sought an explanation from the CMO of Fatehpur for not informing the government about this matter on time. An explanation has also been sought from the said Medical Superintendent regarding the allegation of Dr. Gupta giving money every month to the Chief Medical Superintendent of the District Hospital of Fatehpur.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that the investigation of various irregularities and corruption complaints against Sultanpur Chief Medical Officer Dr. OP Chaudhary and former Superintendent of Community Health Center Lambhua (Sultanpur) has been given to the Divisional Additional Director, Medical Health and Family Welfare. At the same time, the Principal Secretary, Health has been directed to take departmental disciplinary action against Dr. Pratishtha Singh, dental surgeon posted at Community Health Center Zamanabad (Pilibhit) and Dr. Sandeep Kumar, radiologist posted at Community Health Center Gauriganj (Amethi) for being continuously absent from duty.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that for the establishment and operation of the 50-bed maternity wing built in Gautam Buddha Nagar’s Community Health Center Bhangel, permission has been granted to create 30 regular posts including nine posts of doctors and 21 posts of paramedical and other categories and 12 posts of Class IV employees on the basis of outsourcing. Local and nearby patients will be able to benefit from this wing.
