Lucknow:  The protest of the candidates in the 69,000 teacher recruitment case continues in Lucknow. The protesters did not leave the protest site even during heavy rain on Wednesday. The protesters said that the protest would not end until they got the appointment letter. The protesters said that they were protesting during the rain, but no one from the administration had come to take care of them.

give us our appointment letter

A protester said that there were a large number of women in the protest. We were removed from the protest site at midnight on Tuesday. We have not eaten food since last night. Today we are getting drenched in the rain and are putting forward our demands to the government. We want the government to give us our appointment letter given the decision given by the court.

Protesters again reached the protest site

After being removed late on Tuesday night, the protesters again reached the protest site on Wednesday morning. Another protester said that we have already protested for many days. The court has decided in our favor. The government should also pay attention and issue appointment letters. Let us tell you that recently Allahabad High Court gave a decision in the 69,000 teacher recruitment case. The double bench of the court canceled the merit list of teacher recruitment. Also ordered to issue a new merit list within three months.

There will be no injustice to any candidate- CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed this decision of the court. Posting on x, he wrote that I was informed about all the facts of the court’s decision by the Basic Education Department in the 69,000 teacher recruitment case. The department has been instructed to take action in light of the observation of the Supreme Court and the decision of the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court. The Uttar Pradesh government is of the clear opinion that the reserved category candidates must get the benefit of the reservation facility provided by the Constitution and no injustice should be done to any candidate.
