Baraut. To address the traffic jams in Baraut city on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway, a bypass will be constructed, starting in Barauli village and joining the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway near Bavli village. This will provide relief to residents from traffic jams.
In Baraut city, on the highway between the Industrial Police Outpost and Baoli Toll, Sarai Mor, PN Sharma Park, Delhi Bus Stand, Chhaprauli, and Baoli Toll are places where traffic jams persist due to heavy local traffic. To alleviate this problem, MP Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan met with Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and requested the construction of a bypass outside Baraut.
On January 1st, Nitin Gadkari informed Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan through a letter that the bypass for the city of Baraut on the Delhi-Saharanpur National Highway 709-B has been approved. Messrs. FP Project Management has been appointed as the DPR consultant. The DPR is now complete.
The bypass, which begins at Barauli village on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway, passes through the Baraut-Kotana Road, Malkpur on the Baraut-Chhaprauli Road, and ends at the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway near Baoli village. Its construction will not only bring development to Barauli, Malakpur, and Baoli villages and their surrounding areas, but will also alleviate the traffic jam problem in Baraut city.
Foot overbridge construction begins
Nitin Gadkari also sent a letter to the MP informing him that the construction of a foot overbridge in Gram Panchayat Pali on the Delhi-Saharanpur Highway has been approved and work has begun. Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan had requested the Minister to construct a foot overbridge in Pali.
