In the accident, the BEST bus crushed 20 people walking on the road, out of which 3 people died. The injured have been admitted to Sion and Kurla Bhabha Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. It is believed that this accident happened due to brake failure. The accident happened in Ambedkar Nagar near Buddha Colony when BEST bus route number 332 was going from Kurla station to Andheri.

Accident caused by brake failure

A BMC official said that it is suspected that this accident in Kurla happened due to a problem with the brakes of the bus. He said that the driver of the BEST bus suddenly lost control of the bus while going on route number 332.
