TISS student’s body found in apartment, police trying to find out the cause of death

A case of the death of a student of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in Mumbai has come to light. The body of the student was found in his apartment on Sunday morning. It is being told that before his death, the student had gone to a party with some of his friends. The police have registered a case. 

I went to a party with friends

According to information received from police sources, the student’s name is Anurag Jaiswal, who was a resident of Lucknow and on Sunday morning his body was found in his apartment where he was living on rent. It is being told that he had gone to a party with several of his friends in Vasai, adjacent to Mumbai, where he drank alcohol.

Anurag was a student in the HR department

More than 100 senior and junior students attended the party in Vasai. When Anurag did not wake up in the morning after reaching home, his roommates took him to a hospital in Chembur, where doctors declared him dead. Anurag Jaiswal was a student of the HR department.

Police are questioning the friends of the deceased

In this case, the police suspect ragging by seniors. The police are questioning all the friends of the deceased Anurag. The family of the deceased in Lucknow has been informed and they have left for Mumbai. According to a senior police officer, the body of the deceased student has been sent to Mumbai’s Rajwadi Hospital for postmortem. At present, the police are investigating this case from different angles, but the cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes out.
