Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The famous Haryanvi singer and Bigg Boss 11 contestant Sapna Choudhary had filed a complaint against her husband Veer Sahu under domestic violence. And taking her concerns into account, the Dwarka Women’s Court in New Delhi has passed this order in her favor, providing interim relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

Sapna Choudhary got married in secret on January 24, 2020, she has two sons from her husband Veer Sahu and is reportedly expecting her third child with him soon. And according to an India Today report, it is this DWPC ruling at the Dwarka Mahila Court that will now prevent Veer Sahu from visiting Sapna's new house or from coming near her ahead of her movie premiere. Her new film, ‘Momaku,’ is to release on June 10th.

Furthermore, Dwarka Mahila Court has asked the petitioner's husband to keep away from her or any person acquainted with her. He is also prevented from visiting Sapna Choudhary's home, her film premiere or place of work.

What happens in the next hearing?

Sapna Choudhary has accused her husband Veer Sahu of thrashing her numerous times and causing commotion outside her house. The singer had moved out of their house and approached the court claiming domestic violence, stating that her husband had allegedly abused and beaten her up. She was granted protection by the court which considered all documentary evidence and the need to protect the petitioner as well as fulfill her professional commitments. It is expected that next hearing of this case will take place on July 25, 2026.
