The price reduction, which will take effect from September 22, 2025, is a result of the GST Council's decision to lower the tax rates on a range of vehicles. The popular Tata Punch will see a price drop of Rs 85,000, while the stylish Altroz will be cheaper by Rs 1.10 lakh. If you're looking for an SUV, the Nexon will now be available for Rs 1.55 lakh less. Even the Tiago and Tigor are getting significant price cuts of up to Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000 respectively. The larger Harrier and Safari models will also see their prices reduced by up to Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh.
