Suniel Shetty Embraces Grandfather Role with Love and Lifestyle Changes:

He has expressed how his heart has been touched ever since his daughter Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul’s daughter was born on 24th March 2025.

In an interview with The Lallantop, Suniel remarked, “I am totally sent in the baby. Most frequently I need to check my phone or go home. Best part is she is going to shift to the same building and that's what I am really looking forward.”

An actor who maintained a disciplined lifestyle now claims to have changed his daily schedule and fitness routine to accommodate spending time with his child Evaarah. “I actually take over caregiving responsibilities while everyone is still sleeping, which is why I've completed my workouts by 6:30 A.M.”

Suniel Shetty, 62, has adjusted his fitness goals, and specifically, has set new ones to ensure that he is in shape for the physically demanding role of a hands-on grandfather. “I’m shifting my focus towards flexibility and strength — particularly in areas that require lifting and bending. In practical terms, these changes mean I can carry her, play with her, and remain active as she grows,” he said.

He underlined the need for a strong back and legs in older age and further added, “People think I’m joking, but my training has genuinely changed because of the baby.”
