Special FD Schemes 2025: Invest in These 5 Banks and Earn Up to 8.05% Interest:

A number of banks have stopped offering their promotional Fixed Deposit (FD) schemes with the start of the financial year. On the other hand, numerous other attractive schemes are still available, some offering competitive returns as high as 8.05%. Let me share the details of the special FD rates on offer by the five selected banks:

1. Indian Bank FD Scheme

Indian Bank will continue to offer the IND Supreme 300-day and IND Super 400-day Special FD Schemes till June 30, 2025. The interest on these schemes is 8.05% for super senior citizens, which is very attractive.

2. Punjab & Sind Bank Special FD

The special FD scheme of Punjab & Sind Bank is now continuing till June 30, 2025. Although the bank has now removed the 333-day and 555-day FD schemes, investor can now enjoy:

- 444 days FD: 7.10% interest
- 777 days FD: 6.50% interest
- 999 days FD: 6.35% interest

(These interest rates will be effective from April 1, 2025.)

3. IDBI Bank Utsav FD Scheme

IDBI Bank maintained its special rates for Utsav FD category, removing the 300-day and 375-day FD schemes but still offering:
- 444 days FD:
General: 7.25%

Senior Citizens: 7.75%

Super Sr. Citizens: 7.90%

- 555 days FD:
General: 7.30%
Senior Citizens: 7.80%
Super Sr. Citizens: 7.95%

- 700 days FD:
General: 7.00%
Senior Citizens: 7.50%
Super Sr. Citizens: 7.65%

4. SBI Amrit Vrishti 444 Days Special FD Scheme

State Bank of India (SBI) has repaid the Amrit Vrishti FD scheme on April 15, 2025. The 444 day FD offers 7.05% interest while the scheme used to supply 7.25%.

5. Canara Bank

Canara Bank offers an attractive interest rate on its special 444- day FD scheme:

General customers: 7.25%

Senior Citizens: 7.75%

Important Considerations

Make sure the bank is registered with the RBI and has DICGC insurance covering deposit investments up to Rs 5 lakh. In addition, do note that these special FD rates might be for a limited time only. These details should be confirmed prior to investing.
