Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has taken action after an objectionable video of a hospital in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh went viral. Action has been taken against five employees. Three of them have been transferred. A case has been registered against two. Here a video of vein ligation went viral, in which women were being operated in an objectionable condition. It is believed that a health worker made a video of this. After this, there has been an uproar.
The case is of Hargaon Community Health Center of Sitapur. Here the video of female sterilization from the operation theater went viral. Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has taken cognizance of this matter and taken major action. A case has been registered against two pharmacists. At the same time, the staff nurse and ward aaya along with the CHC superintendent have been transferred. Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak gave information about this action on his X account. He said that no culprit will be spared.
What is in the viral video?
A video of CHC Hargaon went viral. This video was of the sterilization of women inside the OT, in which women were being sterilized in objectionable conditions. In the viral video, male health workers are also seen present in the OT during the sterilization. Whereas according to the rules, only female health workers should have been inside the OT during female sterilization. After the video of sterilization went viral on social media, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak took serious cognizance of this matter and took major action against the health workers posted at CHC Hargaon.
Order to submit investigation report in 4 days
Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has transferred CHC Superintendent Dr. Nitesh Verma to CHC Elia and has also ordered him to submit an explanation within three days while withholding his salary for one month. In the same sequence, an explanation has been sought from Gynecologist Dr. Govind while withholding his salary for one month. In the same sequence, staff nurse Radha Verma, and ward attendant Kalpana have been removed from Hargaon Center and posted at Community Health Center Kasmanda. Along with this, an explanation has been sought from them while withholding their salary for one month. Legal action is also being taken against both trainee pharmacist Satyaprakash and Atul Awasthi by registering a case against them. Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak has ordered CMO Harpal Singh to submit an investigation report within 4 days regarding the entire matter.
