On the occasion of Independence Day, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan addressed the farmers. He said that on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program, the ‘Kisan Ki Baat’ program will be started soon. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that Prime Minister Modi had told me that there should be a ‘Kisan Ki Baat’ program. It should be organized at least once a month. After this, we have decided to start this program, which will be started in September.

“Farmers and agriculture are in the heart of PM Modi”

He said that agricultural scientists and department officials will give information to farmers through radio and TV. We will also sit with them in the program. Farmers should get the benefit of science. For good farming, they should get agricultural information immediately. The Union Minister said that farmers and farming remain in the heart of Prime Minister Modi. He has given priority to the farmers of the country. Now on the occasion of Independence Day, the country’s food providers are also invited to the Red Fort. Ever since PM Modi became the Prime Minister of the country, he has remembered the food providers on the occasion of Independence Day.

“I am lucky, I was given the job of serving the farmers”

Shivraj Singh said that when he became the Prime Minister for the first time in 2014, he took the name of the farmer 6 times in his address from the ramparts of the Red Fort. After this, he took the name of farmers 23 times in 2015, 31 times in 2016, 20 times in 2017, 17 times each in 2018, 2019, and 2020, and 15 times in 2021. He further said that PM Modi took the name of farmers countless times on the occasion of Independence Day in 2022, 2023, and 2024. PM Modi has farmers and farming in his heart. He always wants the well-being of farmers. I am fortunate that as the Union Agriculture Minister, I have been given the task of serving the farmers.
