The Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated businessman Robert Vadra for the second time yesterday, after which he asserted, "I am too strong for all this." These remarks followed his visit to the ED office pertaining to a land deal issue in Gurugram, Haryana.
Vadra was in the company of his spouse and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. As per official information, Vadra has been ED’s subject for almost five hours on Tuesday as they also took his PMLA statement (Prevention of Money Laundering Act).

Claims Political Agenda Behind ED Action
The 56-year-old labeled such actions by the ED as “political vendetta.” He maintained that he has provided a plethora of documents throughout the years, asserting that he indeed has collaborated with various agencies. Moreover, he stressed the need for resolution in matters that linger unresolved for two decades.
This involves a land deal in Haryana’s Manesar-Shikohpur(now Sector 83) for which there is a file dated February 2008. Skylight Hospitality Pvt Ltd, the company where Vadra used to be a director, bought the land from Onkareshwar Properties for ₹75,00,000.
Dispute Over Land Transaction In 2008
The controversial deal followed the 2012 sale of the very land parcel by Skylight Hospitality to DLF for 58 crore. Khemka, who was superseded by an IAS officer, canceled the mutation due to violation of the states consolidation laws in October of the same year.
The land was located in Haryana which was under the rule of Congress party and their government was headed by Bhupinder Singh Hooda. The opposing party BJP openly accused the Congress government of rampant corruption and family favoritism because of Vadra’s known connection ties with leaders of the party.
Vadra has multiple pending cases with ED for interrogations related to two separate money laundering cases tied to his business.
