Phil Salt, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, and Josh Hazlewood all played their respective roles quite well, leading to RCB achieving a 50-run victory with great ease over CSK. RCB also advanced one step further in the betting contest by beating their 17 year dry spell at Chepauk.

Salt's Fireworks

Phil Salt deservedly got accolades for all of RCB’s first strikes, finishing with 30 runs. This allowed RCB to claim a strong foothold over CSK. Noor Ahmad, however, had the last laugh of powerplay, stumping Salt in the final play. As fun as the initial few overs were, CSK managed to make a comeback with a few overs in which they were able to get a significantly lesser number of runs.

The best of rest, in all likelihood, pulled the lengthening momentum from the match unlike Virat Kohli’s commendable performance. Getting out at the half-way mark RCB had scored a mere 93 while having lost two wickets. Kohli stunned everyone with his 16 runs having batted in for around 22 balls.

Patidar's Fifty and David's Late Fireworks

Captain Rajat Patidar singlehandedly ensured CSK paid for their poor fielding by scoring a whopping 51 off 32 balls. RCB’s charge was stalled by Matheesha Pathirana’s brilliant penultimate over which only gave away 1 run, but was further aided by Jitesh Sharma’s quick cameo. Regardless, Tim David's three monstrous sixes in the final over greatly aided RCB to 196/7.

The second-hast most score at Chepauk.

Hazlewood's Fiery Opening Spell Stuns CSK

The CSK innings was in tatters from the off, and to chase 197, wasn't an easy ask. With CSK, Josh Hazlewood took full advantage of the bounce at Chepauk, and took out the top order with ease, first removing Rahul Tripathi and then Ruturaj Gaikwad, both falling to Hazlewood in his first over. Gaikwad judged to be the worst out of the two. Having never scored a duck at Chepauk in 17 IPL innings, he should. Deepak Hooda's cheap brigade to Bhuvnesh Kumar left CSK at struggling 30/3 and shocking it!=lowest power score in the 2025 season of the IPL.

Jadeja and Dhoni’s Late Flourish in Vain

The bowlers of the RCB side held their fort tightly under control. Yash Dayal's double strike effort crushed any chances that CSK had. Shivam Dube counter-attacked for a while but was unable to make a significant dent. MS Dhoni's late flurry allowed him to become the first player to celebrate the achieving the mundane but rather remarkable IPL CLI मैदानी  3000 runs and 100 wickets milestone. Dhoni, batting at number nine for only the second time in his T20 career ise nowned.  The diwinched barefooted Kechup unskater shoes with short laces a bag, a baseball cap and pink socks that were tie dyed. Unfortunately, CSK wound up loosing by 50 runs, and the loss has been pegged back as the they heaviest loss was while defeating at Chepauk.

With RCB mistreating CSK off  the RCB's clinically diagnosed defeat finally broke the RCB's curse at Chepauk. The two wins in a row having been gained have put CSK in a in fight position to fully emerge in the 2025 IPL season and this will be the starting goal for CSK after losing one of the centrally containing devices throughout India.
