South Indian film star Yash gained worldwide recognition after his performance in KGF, and now he is in the news yet again for his upcoming ambitious project ‘Ramayana’. Yash will play the role of Ravan, while Ranbir Kapoor is playing Ram and Sai Pallavi is Mother Sita. This much-awaited project is set to begin filming this week in Mumbai.
Special Roles and Co-Production
It is important to mention that Yash is not just taking care of the acting responsibilities since he is also co-producing the film. Yash went to the Mahakal temple in Ujjain to take the blessings before starting the shoot. Yash has just finished the filming of his action thriller ‘Toxic’ and is now fully given to ‘Ramayana’. Also, part of the cast will be actor Sunny Deol for the role of Lord Hanuman, increasing the star cast even further.

This is being directed by one of the most known filmmakers in India Nitesh Tiwari and this is being said to be one of the most ambitious projects in the Indian cinema history. The audience is eagerly waiting for its release which is initially set to be around Diwali in 2026 and the second part in 2027.
