Rajnikanth seems to be in the limelight yet again not just for the film, but also for the trauma as he interacts with fans who came during the shoots.

As reported by Pinkvilla, it is likely that Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil will soon get on Jailer 2. Although the producers have not made an official announcement, it is believed that he is going to assume the primary dynamic role which, if true, will alter the storyline dramatically. Fahadh was last seen with Rajnikanth in Vettaiyan (2024), which was a box office disaster but had a pretty good cast and did fairly well with critics.

In Jailer 2, Rajnikanth is back again with formidable police officer Muthuvel Pandian. The character further explores the background in the sequel and Rajnikanth has some work to do.
