Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The annual commemoration of the victory has a special significance this year due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and its effects on Russia’s international relations. The traditional military parade on May 9th, or Victory Day, was expanded to the ‘International’ scope and was rebranded the ‘International Military-Patriotic Music Festival Parade.’
Presidential Parade During Combat Operations
Reports have already been received that the Russian armed forces have initiated and are actively conducting a series of assault operations across Ukraine’s territory.
Patriotic songs will again play in tandem with the marching in step of soldiers as a month-long Victory Day celebration culminates on the 9th.
This new iteration of the parade is intended to deepen integration with the regions of Ukraine formerly occupied by Russian troops, and artificial Demilitarized Regions Republics, along with reintegrated citizens.
Fierce Restriction Policies in Moscow
Moscow restrictions and censorship have drastically steered away from standard operating protocols for suspicious elements.
Included among the notable attendees is President of China, Xi Jinping, as well as Brazil’s President, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
Strengthening Xi Jinping and Putin Relations
Prior to the ceremony, they met in the Kremlin where Putin and Xi had long discussions to mutual understanding and support.
Putin referred to Xi as his 'dear friend' and both leaders attended in an agreement against Western interests.
Control of Historical Framing and Narrative
The Russians call World War II as the “Great Patriotic War”, which, by the way, started in 1941 when Germany invaded USSR.
In Russian history instruction, the Soviet-German cooperation prior to '41 is a sorely neglected subject.
Putin has long exploited the war’s legacy to cement the nationalistic rhetoric of Russian valor and sacrifice.

Russia Blocking Access to Information Post – Ukraine Invasion
Post the Ukraine invasion, Russia has criminalized any form of critique towards the army and further restricted public speech.
In new issued texbooks, Ukraine is categorized as an ultra-nationalist domain and its administration is said to be analogous to a Nazi regime from the early Forties.
Putin has unrelentlessly argued and passes the objective of the invasion is for “De-Nazifying Ukraine”, which remarks strongly denied by Ukraine.
