New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday said that whatever the people of the ruling party say, it does not matter to her because for her brother nothing is more important than the country. She said that for those who can call Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who spent 13 years in jail for the freedom of the country, and Indira Gandhi, who divided Pakistan into two parts, ‘traitors’, it is nothing new for them to use this word for Rahul Gandhi.

Priyanka Gandhi told reporters in the Parliament complex, “Those who can call Jawaharlal Nehru ji, who spent 13 years in jail during the freedom struggle, a traitor, those who can call Indira ji, who divided Pakistan into two parts and was martyred, a traitor, those who can call Rajiv Gandhi ji a traitor, if they are saying this about Rahul ji, then it is nothing new.”
She said, “I am very proud of my brother, for hi,m nothing is more important than the country. Traveled 8 thousand kilometers for the unity of the country, out of which four thousand kilometers were on foot.” Targeting the BJP, Priyanka Gandhi said, “These people may keep saying anything, it does not matter.”
