Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The Border Security Force (BSF) killed a Pakistani infiltrator in the Ferozepur sector of Punjab on May 8. The person was spotted bordering the International Border and moving towards the fencing during night hours.

ANI was briefed by BSF officers who reported the matter. Alert Jawans spotted the movement and intercepted the illegal immigrant. The personnel shot at him when he started crossing towards the border fence. The date of the incident is suspected to be either May 7 or 8. Strangely, the body of the intruder was found the next morning and was subsequently given to local police.

“Ghar Wapsi Choof Sindoor” Operation Intended

This incident occurred during a period of anxiety and increased alert across border areas in India post the surgical strike conducted by Indian forces on 9 so called terror support infrastructural sites located within Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’.

This was triggered due to a suicide car bomb attack in Pahalgam on April 22 which killed 26 civilians. In turn, security forces heightened surveillance and patrols along the sensitive border regions including the Punjabs.
