Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The attackers are still at large ten days after the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir which killed 26 people. NIA sources allege that the attack was executed by two Pakistani nationals and one local of South Kashmir. As per NIA sources who spoke to NDTV and India Today, the attackers had rented a hideout at Baisaran Valley close to Pahalgam, where they intended to stay for two days before the assault on 22 April. Local sympathizers over ground workers reported that apart from Baisaran, the group was also doing reconnaissance of other possible target areas like Aru and Betaab valleys, but opted for Baisaran because of a relatively lower security presence.

According to reports, the terrorists are said to be on the run in the upper reaches of Anantnag and are stocked with enough food and supplies to evade outside assistance.
