
Oscars 2025 - Best Actor was awarded to Adrien Brody for “The Brutalist” while Best Actress went to Mickey Madison for “Anora”.Kieran Culkin bagged the award for best supporting actor for his role in "A Real Pain”. Sean Baker’s “Anora” brought him a win for best screenplay, as well as the editing award. At the Academy Awards on Sunday, Zoe Saldana also won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Perez.
At the 97th Academy Awards in March 2025, the accolades for the best animated feature film were won by “Flow” while “In the Shadow of the Cypress” won for best animated short. “Wicked” also brought home an Oscar for costume design, and in turn made Paul Tazewell the first Black man to win this award.
