With heavy rains causing trouble across the Delhi-NCR region, authorities in Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar (which includes Noida and Greater Noida) decided to keep schools closed on September 3rd. The decision was made after the weather department warned of more rain, and it was a step to ensure students' safety.

However, for the following day, September 4th, no official announcement has been made about school closures in Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, or Delhi. This means that, as of now, parents should expect schools to be open.

It's a different story in some other areas. Due to severe weather and flooding, schools and colleges will remain shut until September 7th in Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, and Punjab. These regions have seen more significant issues like landslides and waterlogging, making it necessary to keep educational institutions closed for a longer period.

So, while the rain has caused disruptions, it seems schools in the immediate Delhi-NCR area are planning to get back to their normal schedules.
