₹35 Crore Bribe Plot: Case Filed Against Senthil Balaji’s Brother for Allegedly Attempting to Topple TVK Government

Ilaiyaraaja filed a formal complaint, alleging that he was subjected to persistent offers and intimidation tactics intended to force him to quit the ruling party. Investigators claim that one of the five individuals recently arrested, identified as Naresh, confessed during interrogation that he approached the MLA specifically at the behest of Ashok Kumar and Senthil Balaji.

Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting a forensic analysis of electronic evidence, including call detail records (CDRs) and digital communications, to substantiate the claims of high-stakes monetary promises made during illicit meetings. Based on initial findings and testimonies, police have invoked four sections of the law against Ashok Kumar, including significant provisions under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
