Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Mouni Roy, known for her acting prowess, announced that she has finished filming her part of the romantic comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai which is directed by the legendary David Dhawan. The film features Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur as the leads, along with Pooja Hegde and Jimmy Shergill, making up an exciting cast list.
The filming took place in Scotland where Mouni shared her last glimpses with the crew through an instagram picture carousel. Alongside the caption, she added her selfies with Varun Dhawan, David Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde, and additional cast members.
Heartfelt Instagram Post
Mouni posted on Instagram describing how working with David Dhawan was a dream come true; she appreciated him, likewise, as “a hardworking, loving and a superstar.”
She thanked Pooja Hegde for being helpful during one of her difficult scenes and complimented her personally saying how she is “wonderful inside out.” Mouni wrote an ‘appreciation note’ to Mrunal Thakur as well, praising her talent whilst predicting an amazing career ahead: “You are so brilliant I’m at a loss for words... you are meant for great, best films.”
All the Gratitude went forth to director Farhad Samji for their sweet disposition, concluding the post with an amazing note for Jimmy Shergill praising him, “Always have, always will love you.”

Mouni Roy will also be seen in Salahkaar directed by Faruk Kabir of Khuda Hafiz fame, alongside Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film is set to release in 2025.
