Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The investigation into the horrific murder of 25-year-old YouTuber Sonam Raghuvanshi has entered a critical phase as Meghalaya Police prepare to conduct a crime scene reconstruction. The two main accused, the victim's partner Ishan Singh and his associate Shushil Singh, are being transported from Uttar Pradesh back to the hill town of Sohra (Cherrapunji) where the heinous crime allegedly took place.

The case shocked the nation after Raghuvanshi’s dismembered body was discovered stuffed in a bag. While her torso was recovered, investigators are still searching for her head and limbs, which the accused allegedly disposed of in different locations.

The crime scene reconstruction is a vital step for investigators. It will force the accused to physically walk through the sequence of events at the hotel where the murder is believed to have been committed. This process is used to verify the confessions made by the accused, establish a clear timeline of the crime, and potentially uncover new evidence. A primary objective of the reconstruction will be to pinpoint the exact locations where the victim’s missing body parts were discarded.

Ishan Singh and Shushil Singh were arrested in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, following a coordinated, inter-state police effort after they fled Meghalaya. They reportedly confessed to the crime during initial questioning.

The police team from East Khasi Hills is now escorting the duo back to Meghalaya. The reconstruction is expected to provide crucial details that will be instrumental in building a strong case for the prosecution, as law enforcement works to piece together the final, tragic moments of Sonam Raghuvanshi's life.
